About Us

We're The Hideaway Campground and we're a campground here in Black River Falls, WI. We have experience building campgrounds and we wanted to create a beautiful and comfortable space in Black River Falls for people to visit and relax while enjoying the beauty of Northwestern Wisconsin. We enjoy camping and we understand the needs of campers. We're looking forward to growing our business and partnering with Hixton, Hatfield, Warrens, Eau Claire, and Tomah consumers to continue to serve the community. The campground is open throughout the ATV season. We have seasonal and daily sites, along with rental campers for those who wish to try the camping experience.

We are located near the Ho Chunk Casino and Lake Wazee. ATV trails to Hatfield/Lake Arbutus area. Also minutes from Black River Falls downtown.

We love it here! We have a semi converted race trailer so bathrooms are important to us. The bathhouse here is kept clean and it is very nice. This is a very laid back campground. It is perfect for people that do not need extra frills for smaller children. It's also very close to the atv trails. We will for sure be back. Also worth mentioning the owner and fellow campers were very nice 😁

Set up is quick, right by Levis Creek. The creek keeps you cool and the love around here keeps you warm. The sites right next to the creek can be tricky for newbies RV set up but backing up trailers the staff here can help you with. Quiet location and a bar. Lovely place. Bathhouse as well with air conditioning and three private shower rooms.. heaters in each for cold nights. Anyways great place.

My husband, son, and I stayed there this weekend and had a wonderful time! We were very pleased with the atmosphere, cleanliness, and cost! The bathroom house alone will bring us back again, they have 3 individual full bathrooms with showers, they also have a laundry room attached inside of the building. Camping is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors with friends and family. We are located on the Jackson County UTV/ATV trails. Take off from your camper to ride some of the best trails in the state. We have several daily sites for tent and RV camping. Seasonal sites are available for the 2025 season. The season starts April 15 through October 15, 2025. All our sites offer septic, water and electric hook up. We have a new bath house with laundry facility. Whiskey Jacks Tavern on the campgrounds open Thursday through Sundays.
